Built for people who would rather be outside than check twenty online shops.
Hikeventory started with a simple frustration: researching great outdoor gear is fun, but repeatedly checking where the same product is genuinely on offer wastes time.
I am an avid hiker and outdoors enthusiast myself. I enjoy researching gear, making my kit smarter and lighter, and occasionally adding something new. What I enjoy less is checking the same backpack, jacket, tent or water filter at shop after shop just to find out whether there is a genuinely good offer.
That is why I am building Hikeventory. The site looks for current outdoor deals and brings them together in one place, so you can quickly judge which offer is interesting and which retailer is actually offering it.
Only deals we can substantiate
Hikeventory is not a directory of ordinary retail prices. A product only appears as a deal when we can substantiate a current retailer offer. An old historical low, recommended retail price or regular shop price is not enough.
Sizes, colours and other variants stay separate wherever possible. That helps prevent showing the price for size 42 on a product where only size 39 is discounted.
Verification before marketing
We do not simply repeat a discount claim. The current offer and the product variant it applies to need to be sufficiently clear.
